Tilt your way out of the maze

Labyrinth Lite Edition recreates a classic wooden puzzle game on your Android device. The mobile game first appeared on the iPhone and is still one of the all-time classics on that platform. As with the original, the object of Labyrinth is to roll the ball around the maze to reach the end.

The great thing about the game is that it's controlled by tilting your mobile from side to side, making it a really natural-feeling alternative to the real thing. Although gameplay is its strongest point, Labyrinth isn't bad in the graphics department either. The rendering of the wood on the board is smooth and realistic and the animation is pretty slick too.

We also thought very highly of the force feedback vibration you get from your device (provided it's supported) when a ball bounces of a wall or drops in a hole. It's so perfectly executed that it really feels like you're holding a real wooden puzzle in your hand.

Labyrinth comes with a few default levels, or you can go online and create your own if you prefer by following the link within the program.

It may be infuriatingly fiddly at times, but Labyrinth is one of the most polished puzzle games on the Android platform.
